On New Year's Eve we had an early countdown with a couple of Sarah's friends: Caroline and Sarah Kitchen. The kids got to make their own pizza and ran around the house blowing horns. At 8pm, we had the countdown and everyone got to drink some sparkling apple cider. It was a nice night. Later when Greg came home from work, we sat by the TV and watched the regular countdowns taking place everywhere.
